Howard Galganov

Howard Galganov (February 12th 1950 -) is an activist and a Canadian radio presenter.

Native of Montreal, it studies with the Université Sir George Williams and is marked by the Crise of October, when members of FLQ assassinate the minister Pierre Laporte.

In the Years 1990, it becomes very critical Canadian government and movement Québécois separatrist not to have sufficiently defended the rights of the anglophone minority of the province of Quebec.

It founds the committee of poltic action of Quebec (QPAC) and serves as president until in 2000. He protests against the linguistic inspectors of the Office of the French language and expresses his anger towards Raymond Villeneuve, which had denounced the Jews in his newspaper the Storm . He admits itself to have militated in the section montréalaise of Jewish Defense League of the rabin American Meir Kahane considered by the FBI in a report/ratio on terrorism as an organization violent Jewish extremist.

Its firm and very direct style made of him a character discussed at the time of the polemical debates in Canada. Its radio program Galganov in the morning is very listened on CIQC, but its inflammatory remarks are condemned by the Canadian Conseil of the standards of the radiotelevision in 1997.

He writes articles in several newspapers and its book Bastards is a better salesman in 1998. This book attacked the elitism, the Séparatisme and certain members of the political community.

Its activism was very badly seen by the Québécois nationalists wt it was the victim of several death threats. Resident with Saint-Lazare , it directs the company Promar Inc. with its wife. Targeted for Fiscal control, it since decided to move with Alexandria in Ontario.
