" Houses off the Holy " is the fourth song of Physical Graffiti , sixth album of the group of Rock English Led Zeppelin left in 1975. The title is a song with a low line of very marked allied with a very distinctive front of Jimmy Page. To make the introduction to the guitar and the Insipid out, Jimmy Page used a Delta T digital for the effects of Delay.

With regard to the words of the song, it is about an ode to the concerts of Led Zeppelin, its title, Houses off the Holy (literally “houses of the saints”), referring to the concert halls in which the group played. However, this song played forever in concert.

Although the name of this song is " Houses off the Holy" , the title does not appear in the album of the same name ( Houses off the Holy ). It was to be in the beginning the principal title of this album, but was withdrawn because the group found that it did not correspond to the album. The song does not have needed to be remixée for its addition with Physical Graffiti , since it had been entirely mixed by the Sound engineer Eddie Kramer at the sessions of recording to the studios Electric Lady in June 1972.
