House show

A house show is a show of Catch of a major federation (like TNA or WWE), which is not televised or is not recorded. The federations use the house shows to benefit on the financial plan from the exposure that they and their all-in wrestlers receive during their representations televised in addition to being also a good test for the reaction of crowd on types of matches which they think that the televiewers would like to see.

Each division of the WWE (RAW, SmackDown! and ECW) makes four shows per week, of which one only is televised. The federations use also the house shows to promote televised events, and more particularly of the pay per views; typically, an all-in wrestler who is envisaged to fight to the next statement of promotion will be present at the time of the house preceding shows the event. This also enables them to test parts of matches before they appear in statement.

During a few years, the TNA organized house shows in collaboration with UWF. The TNA has from now on its clean house shows which is held occasionally.

House shows in France

In 2007, the WWE had returned in France for the first time for fifteen years and made closed counters without publicity.
