House of Oldenbourg
The house of Oldenbourg is a family which currently reigns on the Denmark (since 1448) and on the Norway (since 1905), and which reigned formerly on the Russia (of 1796 with 1917), on the Greece (of 1863 with 1974), on the Sweden (of 1751 with 1818), on the Grand Duchy of Oldenbourg (of 1829 with 1918), etc
After Elisabeth II of the United Kingdom the British crown should pass from the house of Wettin to the house of Oldenbourg, in the person of Charles, prince de Galles. The British royal family chose the name of Windsor in 1917.
