House of Nevers
The Maison of Nevers is a dynasty of the Noblesse the Middle Ages founded by Landry de Monceaux. They held the counties of Nevers, Auxerre and Vendôme.
Origin
They result from the lords of Heaps. Landry de Monceaux married Mathilde, girl of Otte-Guillaume count de Bourgogne, which brought to him in dowry Auxerre and Nevers.A son junior, Bodon, married the heiress of Vendôme. Another, Robert the Burgundian one, married that of Sanded.
