House of Lusignan

the house of Lusignan is a noble dynasty of the Poitou originating in the the Limousin, attested since the 10th century and which gave counts of Walk, of Angouleme, kings of Jerusalem then of Cyprus and of Arménie.

This house, which gave kings de Chypre and of Arménie, is resulting from the princes of Poitiers-Antioche, and in female line of the Lusignan. The founder, Henri of Poitiers-Antioche, had taken the name of Lusignan.
