House capétienne of Vermandois

The house capétienne of Vermandois is a branch of the dynasty capétienne resulting from Hugues Ier de Vermandois (1057 † 1102), wire of Henri Ier king de France, and which became count de Vermandois and of Valois by its marriage with Adélaïde de Vermandois.

This branch had itself two branches:

that of the counts de Vermandois, extinct in 1167
that of the counts of Chaumont-in-Vexin, extinct in the neighborhoods of 1250.
