Hotel of Montmorency
The Hotel of Montmorency indicates the private mansion located at the n° 5 of the Rue of Montmorency, located in the Quartier of the Marsh, in the 3rd district of Paris and having belonged until in 1624 to the family of the Montmorency.
It is also called Hôtel Thiroux de Lailly.
This building is always visible today.
Anecdotes
Nicolas Fouquet, named by Anne of Austria superintendent of the Finances in 1653 remained there of 1651 with 1658.
Theophilus de Viau also lived there.
A splendid fountain Néoclassique is still visible in the garden.
