Hotaki
The Hotaki were a dynasty Ghilzai Pachtoune (Afghanistan) (1709 - 1738). They rebelled against the Persan ones at the beginning of the 18th century. The Persian army was beaten and the Afghans briefly controlled Afghanistan and as of the oriental parties of Iran between 1719 and 1729. They were at that time carried out by Mir wais Khan which rebelled against the capacity of the governor of origin géorgienne Gurgin Khan and beat the armies Safavides with Kandahar. After the death of Mir wais in 1715, his/her son Mahmoud carries out an Afghan army with the goal to invade Persia. Goal reached in 1722 when the Afghan army beats Safavides with Gulnabad in 1722 and thus establish their capacity on Persian.
This dynasty was a violent dynasty, and the permanent conflicts between the chiefs returned the exercise of the difficult capacity.
Nâdir Châh Afshar beats them with the Bataille of Damghan in 1729 and drives out the Afghans of Persia in 1730. Nadir Shah will continue his reconquest of Afghanistan by conquering Kandahar in 1738, then Ghazni, Kabul and Lahore.
