Hot summers

Hot summers (hot summers) is an American expression used to indicate the racial riots which have occurred mainly in the years 1960 in the ā€œGhetto Sā€ Afro-Americans of several big cities of the United States (Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Newark). These riots took place during the movement of the American civic rights. More radical movements, such as the Black Panthers were born in this context.
