Hot Tuna
Hot Tuna is an American group formed by the bass player Jack Casady and the guitarist Jorma Kaukonen, in addition all two musicians of Jefferson Airplane.
Also played Will Scarlett with the Harmonica, Papa John Creech with the violin and Sammy Piazza with the battery.
Their music is close to the Blues and the Country. They take again standards of Blues and their first disc ( Hot Tuna left in 1970) is entirely acoustic. The group will accentuate the presence of the electric instruments gradually practitioner even of 1975 until energetic live the " double dose" in 1978, a hardware blues survitaminé and electric in which the interlacings of the guitar of Kaukonen were supported by the infernal pulsations of low of its Casady accomplice.
