Hot Potatoes

Hot Potatoes (in French: the Patate S Chaud be ) is a software continuation including five applications allowing to create Exercice S to be put on line on the Web.
The applications are called:
- JQuiz (editor of multiple-choice questionnaire or " QCM or " Quiz s")
- JCloze
- JCross (editor of cross Words)
- JMix
- JMatch (editor of exercises of pairing)
Obviously the J of these applications indicates programming in JavaScript, but of the sites in HTML can be put in an interactive way in the middle of the material of training.
Hot Potatoes is available of versions for Windows, Linux and Mac.
Hot Potatoes is not a free software, but it is free for the users of the sectors of public education, or with nonlucrative goal. These users must make their contents available on Internet. The other users must pay a license.
Hot Potatoes was created by the team of Research and development of the Humanities Computing and Media Centers with the Université of Victoria. The commercial aspects of the software are managed by Half-Baked Software Inc.
The exercises of Hot Potatoes can be imported in Dokeos.
