Hosseuse
Hosseuse (in Walloon Hosså ) is a village of Belgium located in Walloon region in the Province of Luxembourg.
It belongs to the old commune of Grapfontaine which is today a section of the Ville of Neufchâteau.
It appears already at the beginning of the 17th century on the Carte of Arenberg of Prévôté de Neufchâteau in 1609
In 1604 , three noble resides at the village:
- Henry of Baclain
- Jean of Sprimont
- the widow of Jean' of Mont' .
In 1628 , the village counts five families of gentlemen or franc-men.
In Hosseuse, a noble good and a stronghold coexisted.
This stronghold was composed, at least partially, of pre and wood:

In 1743 , Jean of Baclain sells pre to Henri Claude, sergeant of office of Neufchâteau. This one restores the following year to him.

In 1766 , the provost of Neufchâteau, Jean-Bernard of Senocq declares, at the time of the Land register of Marie-Therese, two arpents of concerning wood stronghold of Hosseuse.

In 1791 , Jean-Baptiste of Baclain sells a third of pre of stronghold to the son of Marie-Marguerite Baclain.
