Hossein Ghods Nakhaï

Hossein Nakhaï is a poet and diplomatic Iranian.

He was ambassador with Baghdad, with London before exerting the functions of Foreign Minister of 1961 to 1963. He becomes then Minister for the Court, a station which he leaves to become ambassador at the Holy See (the Vatican). In its youth, it published a literary magazine bearing the name of Ghods. As everyone called it Mr Ghods, he added Ghods to his family name. He was the president of the commission which negotiated with the USSR the return in Iran of the gold lodged with the government of the Tsar.
