The hospital of instruction of the armies Holy-Anne to Toulon, located boulevard Holy-Anne, on the slopes of the bas-Faron, is a hospital depend on the ministry for defense (Department of health of the Armies).
It ensures a contest the Hospital Public service and accommodates the members of National Insurance Scheme. This suburban establishment, old hospital of the Navy, was brought into service in 1910. It became hospital of instruction of the armies in 1968 and is the subject currently of a rebuilding. The new hospital will be brought into service at the end of 2007. It will be located in a unit comprising the school of the ancillary medical personnel of the armies which trains the male nurses of the Armed forces, the Institute of naval medicine, organization of teaching and research, the regional management of the department of health of the armies and many other organizations depending on the Department of health of the Armies.
