Hortência Marcari (born Hortência Maria de Fátima Marcari the September 23rd 1959, Potirendaba with Sao Paulo) is a player Brésil ienne of Basket-ball. Known under the name of Hortência , and called the Queen , it is one of largest players the, with Janeth Arcain, of the history of the Brazilian basketball.

Evolving/moving mainly in Brazil, in spite of passages to the Peru, with Singapore, in Malaysia, Bulgaria and South Korea, it is especially with its national selection that it is made known. It takes part in five world with in point of organ, for its last participation, the championship of the world at the time of the Championnat of the world 1994 in Australia. It finishes its international career after the Olympic Games of 1996 with Atlanta where the Brazilian selection obtains the money medal.
