Horacio Vaggione
Horacio Vaggione (born in 1943 with Córdoba) is an Argentinian type-setter of music electroacoustic and Concrete music which is specialized in the Micromontage, the granular Synthèse, as well as the Microson. Its parts are often made up for mixed music (interpreters and band generated by computer).
Biography
He studied the composition at the national university of Córdoba and the Université of Illinois, where he could have for the first time access to computers.Vaggione lives in Europe and visited all the electronic studios during the years 1970. From 1969 to 1973, he lives with Madrid, Spain and he belonged to the RISK. He Co-founded an electronic studio and the Musique project and computer at the autonomous university of Madrid with Luis of Pablo. In 1978, it goes to France where it resides at it still nowadays and starts to work with the GMEB in Bourges, INA-GRM and IRCAM) Paris where its music passes from the loops samplées and synthesized (as in Maquina de Cantar , produced on an IBM computer) to the micromontage. Since 1983, he is professor with the Université of Paris VIII and organizes the CICM.
