Hoplestigmataceae

The family of the Hoplestigmatacées is an small family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands 2 Espèce S of the kind Hoplestigma .

They are trees originating in the mid-west of the Africa, with sheets décidues and final inflorescences. Those are cymes scorpioïdes, similar to that of the Boraginacées, which suggests a possible bringing together of these two families.

The phylogenetic Classification did not determine yet the exact site of this family, which it locates among the eudicotylédones.
