Hooper (Utah)

Hooper is an American locality located in the Comté of Weber, in the Utah. The Recensement of 2000 indicated a population of: 3926 inhabitants. Densité : 39,4 hab/km ² (102 hab/mi ²). Surface totale : 69 km ² (340,2 semi ²). Coordinates géographiques :.

History

Hooper was established by Mormon under the name of Muskrat Springs. Its name was changed into homage to the captain William H. Hooper, representative of the State to the Congrès. Hooper is remained a long time nonbuilt-in. It was to it the 30 November 2000.

To note

The island of Fremont, in the Big lake Salted, is included within the administrative limits of Hooper.
