HongKong Disneyland

HongKong Disneyland is the first park Disney in China. It opened its doors the September 12th 2005 with HongKong. It belongs to the complex of HongKong Disneyland Resort. It is the property with equal share of the Walt Disney Company and the government of HongKong.

It is the 5th magic kingdom and the 13th park with topics of Disney. It opened the year of the fiftieth birthday of the Disneyland of California and it is for this reason (and as for a question of reduction of cost) as it resembles its groin.

The park had with the opening a capacity of reception day laborer of 28 000 people. The capacity was carried to 34 000 at the end the year 2006 because of the addition of attraction.

The park with topics

The park takes again the radial plane of Disneyland in California and its castle of the Belle to Wood sleeping .
With an important difference, the concept of Far West is unknown in China, also it does not have there a Frontierland.
To help you to differentiate the castles from the two parks, will know that of HongKong is located at less than one kilometer of a mountain. Its silhouette thus cuts out in front of this one.

Hand Street the USA

This Land , evocation of the main street of an American provincial small town resembles that of Disneyland in California but with restaurants adapted to the tastes of the Chinese population.
The frontages of the buildings rather sober and are decorated little: the precision in the details brought during the construction of Disneyland Paris seems to have disparue.
The main station of the HongKong Disneyland Railroad is located at the entry of Hand Street USA.
The visitor can also take the vehicles of Main Street Vehicles to go up the rue.
City Hall is like always on the left entry and fact face with Opera House . Fire Department is next to City Hall but the room on the floor does not seem to reproduce the apartment of Walt Disney. An originality of the park is that the building of City Hall-Fire Department is also used as costuming (guard wraps employees).
The Emporium accommodates the visitor in the first building of the street on the left and Town Square Photo , the store of films and photographs makes in the same way.
on the right Further in the street, one finds Midtown Jewelry (jewelry) which occupies the site of Main Street Cinema , Centennial Hall (a room of arcade) as well as other usual shops of the Disney parks such as Main Street Sweets (candies), Crystal Arts and Main Street Mercantile .
On the left, on the central place Plaza In is which proposes traditional Cantonese kitchen in a decoration inspired of China of the XIXe siècle.
Opposite and on its line, Main Street Corner Coffee (with the accent) has a veranda offering a unspoilable view on the place which leads to the château.
The center of the place to the foot of the castle is marked by an immense pink of the winds carried out with bricks.

Adventureland

It is largest " land" park with like principal attraction Jungle Cruise. The entry is marked by a porch with the tribal paces above a bridge. An arm of river, spanned by several bridges, connects the ditches of the castle to the Jungle To rivet .

Fantasyland

This part of the park is laid out more or less like Fantasyland of Disneyland in California. The main entrance is done by the castle of Beautiful with Wood Sleeping, ( Sleeping Beauty Castle ).

Mickey' S PhilharMagic presents a concert in 3D animated by audio-animatronics.
Mad Hatter' S Tea Cups is a counterpart of the famous coffee cups of Alice, located at the right end of the " land".
Cinderella' S Golden Carousel is a copy of the carousel of Disneyland and is behind the castle.
Dumbo' S Flying Elephants is a copy of the new version of the attraction conceived at the origin for Disneyland Paris. It is located at the extreme left of the " land".
The Many Adventures off Winnie the Pooh takes again to the version of the Magic Kingdom of this attraction on the world of Winnie the bear cub.
Storybook Theater (1 000 places) accommodates the spectacle The Golden Mickeys , a 25 minute old musical comedy on the famous characters of the cartoons in format court of Walt Disney.
Other minor attractions: Snow White Grotto ; Sword in the Stone ; Fantasy Garden .

It' S.A. Small World is in the course of construction and should open during the summer 2008.

For the restaurants:

Royal Banquet Hall proposes in an atmosphere of castle rebirth, a restoring quadruple. On the whole 720 places available, are distributed as follows: 340 interior, 320 external and 60 in a patio discovered.
Clopin' S Festival off Foods proposes 240 places in an environment of Shrove Tuesday very coloured, inspired by the film the Uneven one of Notre-Dame. The been useful dishes are traditional.

Tomorrowland

Space Mountain is a counterpart of that of Disneyland in California. This attraction is contained in a 28 meters height building, with points with 41 meters.

Three following attractions opened one year after the park, the July 25th 2006.
