Honda Deauville
The Deauville is a model of Motocyclette of the road type, and mark Honda. The NTV 650 Deauville leaves in 1998. Replacing NTV Revere, she asserts the solidity of her ancestor, by adding to it of series a crowd of practical aspects.
She takes again the engine twin-cylinder out of V opened with 52°, developing the modest power of 55 horses for 5 mkg of couple. The final transmission, via the box with five reports/ratios is always done by tree and Cardan.
The preparing, even if it did not revolutionize the esthetic guns, is thought above all for its functionality. The Carénage offers a good protection of the pilot, head with the pieds. The side satchels of the elements are not any more brought back but form integral part of the motor bike. They offer a capacity of 18 liters on the left and 16,7 liters on the right.
In 2002, Deauville knows its first large evolution. The Crankshaft and some parts of the engine are modified to destroy part of the vibrations. Nissin braking adopts the system Dual CBS. The front handbrake lever operates the right clamp and the two pistons of the exremities of the left clamp, while the pedal operates the back clamp and the central piston of the clamp gauche. The satchels see their increased capacity, with 24 and 19,5 liters.
In 2006, the 650 is replaced by the NTV 700 Deauville. The Alésage of the twin-cylinder passes to 81 mm and makes climb the cubic capacity with 680 cm ³. Each Culasse adopts a Soupape supplémentaire. The power increases with 65 horses with 8 000 tr/min, for a couple of 6,8 mkg with 6 500 tr/min. The Carburateur S are replaced by an electronic injection of 40 mm in diameter, which, coupled to catalyst, makes it possible to satisfy the anti-pollution standards Euro 3. The satchels pass to 27,4 and 26,7 liters, they are connected between them, allowing the carrying of a long object.
Braking Dual CBS is preserved and the ABS is available in option for 600 € additional.
The weight passes to 236 kg and the height of saddle lowers 24 Misters.
700 Deauville is sold 8 700 €.
