Hombori mount

The mounts Hombori constitute a rock solid mass located in the prolongation of the Falaise of Bandiagara in the area Malian of Mopti, close to the village of Hombori to approximately 100 km of the town of Douentza. Culminating with 1  155 meters, Hombori Tondo is the highest top of the Mali.

It is an archeological site. Several caves would have been inhabited 2000 years ago. The current population of the Hombori mounts is mainly ethnos groups of the Dogons and Songhaï S.
