Homère the Young person
See also: Homère (homonymy)
Homère de Byzance , called Homère the Young person is a tragic poet Greek of third century BC. He was regarded as one of the seven poets of the ancient Pléïade.
According to the Souda he was the son of Andromachos and the poetess Myro. He seems to have been at the top of his glory at the same time as Sosithée of which he was the rival (124e Olympiade: 284 - 281 av. J. - C.). He would be the author of 45 tragedies.
Its works did not reach us, we know just that Timon of Phlionte would have been useful about it for its own works.
