Holy Lucien

Holy Lucien (1867 - 1938), former prefect of the Haute-Garonne, the Rhone delta, the Aisne, Resident general of France in Tunisia, of January 1st 1921 with the January 2nd 1929, resident general of France to the Morocco, mayor of Marignac of 1933 with 1938, was an administrator the most distinguished of. During the war of 1914-1918, at the time of one of its rounds of Prefect, it was allured by the site of Marignac and there bought the property of Sacère. The name of Mr Lucien Saint remains attached to the school complex which it made buy with the commune in 1935.

Mr Saint was elected Senator Haute-Garonne with the elections of 1932. He left his residence with the Morocco, on July 29th, 1933.

He was buried with the cemetery Marignac. On its stele, the speech is retranscribed that Edouard Daladier, then President of the Council, had pronounced to pay homage to him.
