1909 : The municipality of the village of Holy-Thècle is detached from the parish.
June 7th 1989: Fusion enters the parish and the village of Holy-Thècle to form the municipality of Holy-Thècle .

Toponym

The name of the municipality comes from Sainte Thècle, martyrdom of the 1st century.
