Holy-Maxime

Holy-Maxime (in Occitan Of Provence Maximum Santa according to the traditional standard or Santo Massimo according to the Standard mistralienne) is a common French, located in the department of the Var and the French Région Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.

Its inhabitants are called Maximois. The city counts 12.275 inhabitants (60 000 residents in summer).

The city is not member of a EPCI.

Geography

This station borders Northern bank of the gulf of St-Tropez. Protected from the mistral by the wooded hills of the Massive of the Moors, it opens at the South.

Places and Monuments

The port is bordered by the place of 15-August-1944 (day of the release of Co.-Maxime); in the vicinity, on the roundabout, one will see the first terminal of the way Co.-Maxime-Langres liberator.

The church has a beautiful marble furnace bridge of the XVIIIe century.
