Holy-Marie-of-D

Holy-Marie-of-D is a common French, located on the Ile de Ré in the department of the Charente-Maritime and the area Poitou-Charentes.
Geography

Small village, on the southern part of the Ile de Ré, vis-a-vis the Island of Oléron; commune which also integrates the borough of the Valley in D .

Its east coast bordered of beaches and small cliffs, one discovers with low tide the vestiges of many fish locks. Some of these locks are restored and maintained by an association and the House Magayant. Many Blockhouse of the Atlantic Wall 39/45.
