Geography
History
Old Baronnie of Ford-Holy-Flaive of the family of Arcemalle. Germanicus-François FOUCHER, knight, married Jacqueline of ARCEMALLE last heiress of this house seigneuriale. Their only daughter, Marie-Jacqueline FOUCHER, married on February 27th, 1683 Jean de Mesnard, Chevalier, lord of the Alder-Horn, the Vergne of Péault, and partly of the Barotière. Baronnie passed then to Mesnard-Maynard. A very beautiful model of the castle of Ford-Holy-Flaive is exposed to Chabotterie in the Vendée.
