Holocene

A climatic definition

The Holocene one is a Interglaciaire, period hot which follows the last Glaciaire of the Pléistocène (called Weichselien in Northern Europe, Wisconsin in North America or Würm in the Alps). The Holocene one is the fourth and last time of the Néogène, one of many Interglacial of the Quaternaire.

The postglacial transgression
