The Hollywood Stars are old a American frankness from minor Ligue of baseball which operated in Pacific Coast League of 1926 with 1957 by gaining five times the title.
The frankness which is used as a basis for the foundation was created in 1903 with Tacoma. She travelled then of Fresno to San Francisco then to Salt Lake City before settling in 1926 with Los Angeles under the name of Hollywood Bees , well quickly replaced by Hollywood Stars . In spite of the conquest of two titles in 1929 and 1930, the Stars have much evil to constitute a faithful public. The depression puts the frankness except race in 1935.
The Stars reappear in 1938 while being based on the frankness installed with San Francisco since 1926, the Mission Reds (ex- Vernon Tigers), which encountered problems of lack of public vis-a-vis the local rival of the San Francisco Seals.
This second version of the Stars manages to gain three new titles in 1949, 1952 and 1953, but also succeeds in being established in the heart of the supporters. The competition with Angels turn sometimes badly as it was the case the August 2nd 1953 with a true 30 minutes battle arranged between the members of the two teams on the ground… One needs the intervention of 50 anti-riot police officers to put an end to the brawl, diffused on line on television.
