Hollywood Pictures

Hollywood Pictures is one of the studios of productions of the Walt Disney Company, created in 1990 to distribute films more adult than those of Walt Disney Pictures or those considered as “family” of Touchstone. Since 2004 it is integrated into the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group (ex-Buena Vista Motion Pictures Group).
The studio had also a subsidiary company, baptized Hollywood Records for the production of discs. It integrated in 2004 the Buena Vista Music Group.
Disney also used the name of this studio for a section of the park Disney' S California Adventure the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.
Disney produced several films under this label whose celebrates it Sixth Direction with Bruce Willis, Arachnophobie (which marks the birth of the label), Rock ( The Rock ).
