Hollókő
The village Hungarian of Hollókő , located at a hundred kilometers in the North-West of Budapest, figure on the List of the cultural world heritage and naturalness of UNESCO.
The history of this village goes back to the 13th century with the construction of the castle on the Szár mount to 365 m of altitude. Partially destroyed at the beginning of the 18th century, there remains one of the castles best preserved north of Hungary. The agglomeration was destroyed with many recoveries to the last fire of 1909 after which one gave up the roofs stubbles some with the profit of the tiles.
The old village, true museum in the open air, includes/understands about fifty houses and buildings classified of which the church out of wooden built at the 16th century which was an attic until 1889. The rustic houses illustrate the structure of construction palocze 17th century (the " Palóc" constitute an ethnicity with specific traditional culture of the area whose origins remain mysterious). The museum of the village represents an interior fitting accurately palocze and gathers usual and decorative objects traditional. The house of weaving presents the manufacture of fabric by old techniques.
At the time of the festivals, most spectacular being that of Easter, the inhabitants cover their coloured and richly avoided regional costumes.
