Holden WM

The Holden Statesman (series WM ) was the successor of the automobile mark Holden series WL and was the series of luxury which at summer launched beside the series VE (Commodore). The mark of Australian car has introduced both simultaneously.

History

With the development of series VE and WM Holden spent more than 1,1 billion Australian dollar S. Of this amount 190 million AUD was spent with series WM. For the first time since the beginning of Holden Commodore in 1978 series of Holden did not base on a platform of Opel. Because of the plans of export who existed for the Statesman the two series were introduced at the same time and the series of luxury (WM) did not follow a few months later.

As before, the Whim was more sportsman than Statesman. Thus this model has obtained the 6 liters V8 - driving like standard. Also the sporting one was made more clear with less chromium than Statesman, greater bonds etc models of series WM are also richly equipped with fires with the Led, screens DVD, headlights with the modern Xenon and all assistance systems.
