Places and monuments
Splendid lawns pushing on a calcareous ground, it is what you will discover on Gœftberg, plate overhanging the village of Hohengœft. You will also cross the Saint-Wendelin vault there built in 1666 in thanks with God to have saved the village of the Peste, as well as the Chemin of cross going back to 1772. Each year, the Whit Monday, an office of pilgrimage is celebrated in front of the vault. Culminating point of Gœftberg, you will discover the immense antenna (130 m height) of the transmitting radio/TV of Nordheim, being on the hill of Stephansberg. In June, you will have in more the privilege to see flowering full with wild orchises on these lawns.
