Gene Hoglan is a known Batteur American to have played in many groups of metal.
He was the principal type-setter of Dark Angel at the end of the Nineties. After the separation of Dark Angel , he played in very many groups, of which some are famous in their kind, such as Death (on 2 albums), Slayer (to replace Dave Lombardo), Testament, Strapping Young Lad, Old Man' S Child… He is recognized to be one of the beaters most violent, fast and precise.
