Hofbräuhaus
The Hofbräuhaus is largest Brasserie in the middle of Munich. The evenings of great multitude, more than 1000 people are found there.
This brewery is very traditional (it has existed for several centuries): one can see there much Bavarian costumes, and musicians play there of the local music.
Environment is cordial and convivial there: The beer tankards of one liter (which one calls maß ) run up the ones against the others, of table in table, to wish " santé" with its entourage. It is possible to order typical dishes of the area there.
Environment is single: counted of scores of people are balanced units, elbows crossed, by singing the traditional Bavarian songs with full voice.
Several levels and rooms compose the frame, and a place with trees with the back acts as terrace of summer.
The big room of entry is called the room of the schwemme ; it is necessary to notice details on the ground under the tables to include/understand the reason of this name, which goes back to old times of the modes of consumption of beer in Bavarian country.
