Hod Stuart

William H. " Hod" Stuart (born in 1879 with Ottawa in the Ontario - June 23rd, 1907) was a player of Canadian Hockey amateur.

Career

He played as a defender at the end of the 19th century with the Silver Seven of Ottawa, the Lakes de Portage, the Bulldogs of Quebec and the Wanderers of Montreal.

He took part in the conquest of the first Coupe Stanley of Wanderers in 1907. He dies drowned three months after the victory of his team. It is with its honor that the first Match of the Stars is organized in January 1908. The match opposed Wanderers to a selection of the best players of the association to which belongbelonged Wanderers ( Eastern Canada Amateur Hockey Association ). Wanderers gained on the score of 10 goals to 7 and the profits, approximately: 2000 Dollars were transferred with the woman and the deus children of Stuart.

He was established with the Temple of re-elected hockey in 1945.
