Biography

At the base, the group is only made of 2 Mc 'S, 20Syl and Cambia. In 1995, they leave their first Mixtape “ First Formula ”, recorded on one four tracks cassette with Expender.

In 1997, they meet DJ Greem, and launch out in the production of a first album. “ Second Formula ” leaves thus in 1998, followed few concerts. The formula 2 Mc' S, a DJ does not function scene very of course, and the group starts little by little to disperse. 20Syl continues its productions on its side, while Greem concentrates on the collective Coups2Cross, in particular with DJ Atom. In 2000, the two first start again to work together, which leads them to make some scenes with this new configuration, one Mc and one DJ.

In 2001, on&On label is created and maximum “the Malade ” leaves, followed by the 8 titles “ Acoustic Hiphop Quintet ”, published thanks to their victory with the springboard MCA Session 2002 . It gains a sharp success. The scenes multiply, 2 maxis (“ Conscient ” and “ One & One Leaves II ”) are published, to lead in February 2005 to the album “ 73 Keys ”.

20syl , architect of Hocus Pocus, is also a prolific creator, whose productions knew to allure various artists hip-hop hexagon. Thus one could listen to Diam' S, Disiz the Plague, Fabe, Kohndo or Slum village grate on his productions. He does not forsake of it less the underground while taking part in projects such as: “ Just Us vol.1 ” or “ Original Bombattak ”.

The album “ 73 Keys ” is republished fine 2006, with seven titles in more and the clip of " Hip Hop? " realized by Arthur King.

In May 2007 leaves individual “the Vocab! ” in featuring with T Coils and The Procussions, first extract of the new album of Hocus Pocus “ Place 54 ” which left on October 8th, 2007.
