Hockey with the Olympic Games of 1924
The Olympic tournament of Hockey was a great popular success. He crowned the team of Canada, which dominated in a crushing way the unit of its adversaries. During four matches which Canada disputed, it left any chance neither to the Suisse (33-0), nor with the Sweden (22-0) or in Great Britain (19-2), not more than with the Czechoslovakia (30-0).
At the time of the half-fimales, Canada took a lead in the Great Britain (19-2), while the United States was essential vis-a-vis Sweden (20-0).
The match for the attribution of the third place and the money medal saw Great Britain beating Sweden (4-3) {what determined also the championship of Europe}. At the time of the finale, Canada gains the Olympic title by being essential 6-1 vis-a-vis the United States.
Podium
The table below presents manpower of the male teams finishing on the podium for the tournament. The team of Canada east makes of it the team of the victorious Granites of Toronto of the Coupe Allan in 1922 and 1923.
