Hockey on toboggan
The hockey on toboggan is a Handisport derived from the Hockey which is practiced by motor disabilities.
Rules
Hockey on toboggan complies with same the rules as the hockey, with adaptations to take account of the Handicap players.
A part is divided into three periods fifteen minutes each one. Each team is made up of six players of which a goalkeeper.
The athletes sat on a toboggan fixed on two blades of shoes. The metal disc in the place to pass under the toboggan. The sportsmen move and project the palate with two sticks whose end is pointed.
Classification of the handicaps
To practice hockey on toboggan, the athletes must be unable to play in position upright.
Competition
Hockey on toboggan is an official sport paralympic since the paralympic Jeux of Lillehammer in 1994.
