Hockey Club of Mulhouse

The Hockey Club of Mulhouse is an old club of French hockey, having gained the Coupe Magnus at the time of the season 2004-2005. The team bore the name of the scorpions of Mulhouse .

History

  • 1997 : Creation of the club. Participation in the Division 3.
  • 2000: Finalist of the Division 1
  • 2001: Finalist of the Division 1, Mulhouse reaches the Ligue Magnus.
  • 2005: Champion of League Magnus. The club is not authorized by the federation to set out again because of an important financial deficit. Condemned to the retrogation, the club tries all the possible recourses to preserve its place in elite, and is found finally obliged to file for bankruptcy.
  • 2006: Revival of the club in D3, under the preceding name of the Scorpions of Mulhouse but being part of ADHM.Entité which managed the minor teams and which was on the initiative of hockey in this city.
New team, new leaders and clear will to give again ambitions with this sport in this town of hockey or the average of the spectators exceed 800 with each match of the D3 season in 2006-2007. The site is really well made and very packed: www.scorpionsmulhouse.fr.

A priori, much of interest of with dimensions of the private partners for a construction of a stable and durable club. The local press is present and the Town of Mulhouse, after being scalded by " the affaire" wish to invest in this discipline.
