History without the end of II, a new chapter ( The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter ), is a Film germano - American of 1991, carried out by George Trumbull Miller.

It makes following the film the History without end (1984) of Wolfgang Petersen and profited from a continuation in 1995 entitled the History without the end of 3, Retour to Fantasia , of Peter MacDonald.

Synopsis

Whereas Bastien goes in the Koreander bookseller, a call of the Small Empress comes from the book which it had formerly read and answering in the name of History without end . In Fantasia, the malefic Xayide witch installed a machine allowing to steal the memories of the young boy to each time this one made a wish using Auryn, the medallion, jewels and emblem of the Small Empress. It is only one matter of time before that Ci embrume the spirit of Bastien and handles it to assemble it against its close friend, Atreju…

Anecdotes

turning occurred in 99 days.
Jonathan Brandis is the second actor to have incarnated Bastien after Barret Oliver in the first opus and before Jason James Richter in the third.
Contrary to the first shutter which quasi-fidèlement adapted first half of the original book of Michael Ende, the History without the end of II, a new chapter is only inspired very slightly by second half. The third opus as for him is a new adventure 100% of the big screen.
