History of the childhood of Jesus
The History of the childhood of Jesus , also called Gospel of childhood according to Thomas since the edition of J.A. Fabricius in 1703, is a text apocryphal book New Testament.
The composition appears complex and to go back to the IIIe century, but used older sources. One recognizes gnostic elements , others coming from mediums ébionites.
There are different versions: Greek, Syriaque and Latin which depends on it, Ethiopian comprising interesting alternatives, géorgienne rather fragmentary.
The text tells that Jesus made fly away clay birds or how it could return blind man those which had displeased to him.
One should not confuse this apocryphal book with the Évangile according to Thomas.
