History of baseball (documentary televised)

History of baseball ( Baseball: In Film by Ken Burns ) televised Ken Burns diffused on PBS in 1994 is documentary. The first episode was diffused the September 18th 1994. Winner of a Emmy Award (Outstanding Informational Series) and named for another (Outstanding Individual Achievement, Informational Programming), this documentary devoted to the history of the national pastime American account nine episodes (like the number of handles of a match of baseball) in its original version. Diffused for the first time in France by Planet in 1998, the series was then cut out in 18 episodes of about fifty minutes each one. John Chancellor ensures the voice-over of the original version.
