Synopsis
With the 22e century, gigantic a Astéroïde penetrates in the Solar system. Located by the terrestrial radars, he is baptized Rama in homage to the Hindu god , hero of the Râmâyana. Presentation of work
This book is the first of a cycle of four works. The following titles, writings with Gentry Lee, are: Rowed II , the gardens of Rowed and Rama revealed .This novel inspired the video game Rama (published by Sierra), in which one can see Clarke besides addressing to the player.
The topic of the enigmatic vessel being put into orbit around the Earth was also used by other novelists, Greg Bear, in its trilogy: Éon , Eternity and Heritage , John Varley, in his trilogy of Gaïa: Titan , Witch , Demon , Fritz Leiber in the Vagrant .
