Hispasat
Hispasat is a Spanish operator of satellite whose seat is located at Madrid.
It manages the satellites Hispasat 1C and 1D (with 30 western degrees) like Amazonas (with 61 western degrees). It is also recipient of the activities of governmental telecommunications per satellite for Spain through the Xtar-Eur satellites and Spainsat.
Hispasat 1C and 1D were carried out by Alcatel Space in the Space center of Cannes Mandelieu, based on a platform Spacebus 3000B2. They are used to diffuse the numerical bouquets Spanish Digital+ and Portuguese TV Cabo. They are also used for to supply the hertzian terrestrial transmitters of Retevisión, subsidiary of Abertis. Only one television channel is diffused into analogical, it acts of Cuatro, the chain in light of Sogecable.
