Hirundinidae

The family of the hirundinidés (or Hirundinidae ) includes/understands the Pseudolangrayen S and the Hirondelle S, birds of small size with average (from 11 to 22 cm) nourishing itself in vol. Their tapering body carries long wings, and much of species have the tail fourchue.

Cosmopolitans, they attend a large variety of mediums, semi-arid areas with the forests, often close to water. They build sand or ground nests and algae agglomerated with a mixture of mucus and sometimes of the feathers, fixed on walls or cavities of cliffs, caves, except for a species ( Riparia riparia ) which digs burrows in movable ground or sand walls.
