Places and monuments

Hirtzbach has a vast architectural, historical and natural heritage:

- The church Maurice Saint going back to 1834. In the main entrance, under the bell-tower, one can see large a Christ in cross and, opposite, a work of Sebastien Gutzwiller (1798-1872) relating to the martyrdom of Maurice saint.

- the castle of the family of Reinach and the garden English (two registered voters with the additional inventory of the historic buildings).

The English garden was arranged by Charles de Reinach at the beginning of the 19th century, under the Restoration. It is populated beeches, ashes, pines and other trees rarer (oak stalk a 31 meters height and a circumference of 5,40 meters, oak leaving in beam 6 trunks, entirely girdled by a circular bench). The park also shelters the last refrigerator of Sundgau, covered with a perfectly isolated dome. This park was placed at the disposal of the commune and is opened with the public.
