Hiroaki Zakoji
Hiroaki Zakoji , (jap. 座光寺公明 Zakoji Hiroaki), (born with Tokyo the January 20th 1958, died with Tokyo the January 29th 1987) is a Compositeur and Pianiste Japan board.
Biography
It was born on January 20th, 1958 in Tokyo. It grew with Hokkaido of age the 4 years up to 20 years. It started to study the piano as of the 4 years age. As from 16 years he studied the composition with Masanobu Kimura.In 1978, it entered to the musical department of the Université Nihon of Tokyo. Over there, he studied the composition with Kiyohiko Kijima and the piano with Midori Matsuya (1943-1994). At the same time he studied the composition under the aegis of Roh Ogura (1916-1990) with Kamakura.
Graduate of the university at the musical Institute of the University Nihon in 1982. The same year it organized Tokyo Shin-Wagaku Concert in which it regularly played its works like those of its contemporaries.
In 1984 its contemporary work were represented with Basle in Switzerland. In 1985, it was invited by the International Company of the Modern Music and played its " Piano I" Part; (Op.28) in Basle. In April 1986, it turned over to Switzerland where it composed and played its " Piano III" Part; (Op.36) in Arlesheim close to Basle. He also travelled to Spain and to Denmark where he wrote a test for a musical newspaper. Its pieces " II" composition; (Op.11) and " Composition" III (Op.13) had passed on the Spanish radio station.
In June 1986, it was one of the finalists of the Buddhist international musical Competition of Tokyo and its " Continuum" (Op.18) was played by the Symphony orchestra of Tokyo under the direction of Hiroyuki Iwaki (1932-2006).
He died 9 days after his 29 ième birthday of an heart attack on January 29th, 1987 in Tokyo. In its short 29 years life, it left behind him 38 works. All its recordings are preserved in the Information center of the Japanese modern music of Tokyo.
The English type-setter James Stevens wrote: " … its work was single because apart from its style primarily contenporain, it was apart from the modes and of the majority of the other contemporary type-setters. Its work was the product of an exceptional internal ear like that of Mozart. It swept also the Japanese traditional concepts: it was able to compose in an equal reading for the chamber orchestras, synthetic, symphonic or for the traditional instruments… "
