Hippuric acid
The hippuric acid is a derivative of the amino-acids consisted of a Benzoic acid and glycocolle. It is a molecule especially known for the urinary tests, its clereance being total and it is a molecule which is not used by the organization, it is moreover the urinary shape of excretion of the benzoic acid.
It is component which is found into large quantitée in the urines of the herbivores. At the man it is formed after inhalation of Toluène, which will be metabolized in the Foie and will be partly transformed into benzoic acid.
It is also known under the name of para-amino-hippuric acid.
